This is the easiest review, this group, that is run by the amazing couple Craig and Emma is a must not only for people who are creative but for those who don't think they are too. They go through everything step by step and are always at hand to help with any advice and help in the most friendly way. You will be amazed at the piece you create and take home.
This couple have given me the love of pyrography which I'm forever grateful. Since they have run the group in Skipton I have only missed one session and that was the first one only because I didn't know it was on. Its a brilliant friendly atmosphere and would urge anyone to attend any of there groups. Side Burners are a must!

A great afternoon. Well organised event. Teaching was professionally delivered. We were working on our projects very quickly. No need to have an artistic flare as support is given.

This was my second time attending one of the Side Burn classes, and this time I brought my mother along (Christmas gift)
I really enjoyed it and go to grips with it a bit more and used different techniques on this design, using both burner pens.
Craig and Emma are both great hosts, and patient with everyone! I'd definitely come again and recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new for a few hours.

I attended the blue monday pyrography evening session in aid of the samaritans.
Emma and craig are both really nice and patiently show you how to do pyrography from them very beginning.

Highly recommend this great introductory session to pyrography. Having a love for wood I have always wanted to try this art. The special 'Blue Monday' sessions advertised by Side Burner seemed the perfect opportunity and all for such a good cause - The Samaritans. I took along my Dad and my Daughter and we all had a brilliant afternoon. Thanks Craig and Emma for your time. We came away happy with our pieces and have even purchased a burner within half an hour of being home 😂.

We requested Creative Workshops to deliver a pyrography session for Unit's wellbeing day in October, and it was a fantastic experience for those who took part. The session began with clear, hands-on training on how to safely hold and use the heat pen, as well as techniques for marking the wood surface, which made the activity accessible to everyone, regardless of prior experience. Under the guidance of Emma and Craig, each of us created our own individual wooden coaster. Both trainers were engaging, fun, and highly knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance between education and encouragement throughout the session. One of the most positive outcomes was how absorbed everyone became in the task. Many people commented on how refreshing it was to step outside the usual work mindset and focus completely on something creative. The session provided a genuine opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy a well-being activity together. We would highly recommend Creative Workshops for teams looking for an engaging and meaningful creative experience.

I’ve become addicted to photography now, thanks to Emma and Craig. I don’t have a creative bone in my body so to find a hobby where I can actually make something is amazing.
If you are wanting to try something new I’d definitely recommend attending one of the classes as both Emma and Craig are so welcoming and make you feel at ease when creating your own masterpiece. They talk you through every step along the way on the different techniques to use to make your own unique masterpiece.

Superb way to spend 3hrs on a Sunday afternoon.
I really enjoyed myself and I’m pleasantly surprised with the end result (as I’m not in the least bit ‘arty’) under the guidance and watchful eye of Craig & Emma. Anyone that has thought of trying pyro art, this is an excellent way to ‘try before you buy’………. 10/10 from me. Already thinking about my next piece of art work (🤔) at Craig & Emma’s charity tutorial in January.
