I went to a Side Burner craft session yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Craig & Emma were really helpful and patient with the group and we all produced a great variety of excellent pieces. Who knew burning pictures into wood could be so relaxing and fun!

I came to the session today as a complete newbie and left feeling like I’d learned such a lot. Emma and Craig were great, laid back tutors who guided rather than taught and the result around the room was stunning. More than that I found the experience so absorbing and relaxing - a rare opportunity to really slow down. Would definitely book this again and it’s the sort of experience that would make a great experience birthday gift for a friend or loved one.

When I 1st arrived at the venue we where but at at ease, been told that you d be able to finish your piece and be able to take it home. I didn't believe but I did. I finished 2 pieces. And I was really pleased with what I took home. The 2 tutors were helpful and also very patient. Both Leah and me enjoyed the day .

My friends and I booked onto the workshop in Saltburn after seeing it advertised on Facebook and having never tried pyrography before and loving our crafty meet-ups.
The workshop was well set up, informative but also relaxing and laid-back to enjoy the process to let creativity flow. Support was offered to a range of abilities and the facilitators were wonderfully, knowledgeable and supportive, genuinely wanting all to enjoy the process and improve their skills. All outcomes were excellent for those attending - which embodies good teaching and support.
Would definitely do again after leaving with a new skill, a good quality, unique item and enjoying the afternoon greatly.
Would definitely say this is reasonably priced also with the level of expertise, equipment and options. Hosts couldn't do enough for you and were warm, welcoming and friendly.
Tea and biscuits were an added bonus to a gorgeous Sunday afternoon! Thanks so much.

I went on the course by side burner at skipton today after seeing it advertised on Facebook.
It was a friendly atmosphere and as a beginner everything was shown, and taken at a good pace, allowing you to get to grips with the machine on a practice bookmark before starting on your final piece.
I would recommend this to anyone to try as it was great fun. The hardest part was choosing the design from the vast selection available. I can't wait to go again

Having just completed the pyrography workshop my family were amazed when I arrived home with my finished product. Great fun and very therapeutic.
