We did a pyrography workshop at Hurworth and it was brilliant. Each step was explained to us and guidance given throughout. Craig and Emma were great and everyone produced an amazing chopping board. I would definitely attend again.

I attended a workshop in Pocklington today and really enjoyed it. Craig and Emma were great tutors and the workshop was excellent value. We practiced using the burner by creating a bookmark first before moving on to our chosen piece of wood. There was lots of designs to choose from too.
It was a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the workshop on Sunday 8th February. Atmosphere was really relaxed and instructions were clear. Loads of suggestions made on how to enhance my piece, like where and how to shade.

I have spent a great Sunday afternoon (12-3pm) with Craig & Emma. All equipment was supplied. Good advice was given clearly and constructively. I ended up with a nice board as a finished product at the end of the workshop. Would highly recommend to anyone considering attending or organising a session.

Had a cracking afternoon at Side Burner event at The Darlington Golf Course.
Aniko ❤️ booked this event for me as I have already dabbled in pyrography albeit in my own untutored stylee.
Basically it is burning shapes, patterns and pictures into wood.
Craig and Emma, lead a really enjoyable, informative session, giving tips and guidance throughout. I didnt think I would be capable to make such a reasonable effort first time, all thanks to Craig and Emma x

Attended this pyrography workshop yesterday, with a group of friend. It was the best workshop I've done.
All the equipment was set up ready to go. The safety aspect of hot tools was carefully explained.
Then we had excellent instructions on how to use the hot wands and did a practice piece.
Craig and Emma were very friendly, approachable and helpful throughout the process.
My final piece, a breadboard featuring a highland cow looked amazed. My family couldn't believe I'd made it!
I would definitely recommend you attend one of these sessions.

This is the easiest review, this group, that is run by the amazing couple Craig and Emma is a must not only for people who are creative but for those who don't think they are too. They go through everything step by step and are always at hand to help with any advice and help in the most friendly way. You will be amazed at the piece you create and take home.
This couple have given me the love of pyrography which I'm forever grateful. Since they have run the group in Skipton I have only missed one session and that was the first one only because I didn't know it was on. Its a brilliant friendly atmosphere and would urge anyone to attend any of there groups. Side Burners are a must!

A great afternoon. Well organised event. Teaching was professionally delivered. We were working on our projects very quickly. No need to have an artistic flare as support is given.

This was my second time attending one of the Side Burn classes, and this time I brought my mother along (Christmas gift)
I really enjoyed it and go to grips with it a bit more and used different techniques on this design, using both burner pens.
Craig and Emma are both great hosts, and patient with everyone! I'd definitely come again and recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new for a few hours.

Emma and craig are both really nice and patiently show you how to do pyrography from them very beginning.
I really enjoyed my first ever class and was really please with my piece
